Various kinds of services are also available in this market.  This market remains open from 3 pm to 6 pm every Wednesday, during the daytime. It is located on State Street, which is in the midway while driving from Grand Avenue Beach to Carlsbad Village.

Alt Karlsbad Hanse House is a prime landmark of Carlsbad Village, which is a mineral water spa. People can enjoy excellent body massages or other health treatments here and they can also buy mineral water at a very low price from a self-serving kiosk. However, they need to bring their own containers to carry this water in large amounts.

Being the downtown of Carlsbad, this place offers plenty of accommodations to tourists, including hotels and rental homes to spend vacations. They can taste Italian cuisines in 264 Fresco while French cuisines are available in Jeune et Jolie, located in the North State region. People love to taste Mexican cuisines in Norte, which has been running successfully for more than 30 years. Nature-lovers flock to some of these ocean-facing restaurants to enjoy the view of the sunset while having dinner there.

The beaches in Carlsbad stretch continuously for a distance of 7 miles, covering the entire length of this downtown city.  Carlsbad State Beach, Frazee Beach, Tamarack Beach, and Ponto Beach are popular destinations for tourists and local people. There are boardwalks along these beaches, where people can take a stroll and enjoy the sunset view.
